Being baptized in water is an “outward sign of an inward change”. While being baptized does not make a person saved (in right relationship with God), or cause the forgiveness of sins (faith in Christ alone does this), people who are saved and forgiven should be water baptized out of obedience to Jesus (Matthew 28:19). Faith it till you Make it

Life often throws storms we don’t expect. The disciples faced one on a familiar lake, exhausted, terrified, and stuck in waves they couldn’t control. Then Jesus appeared—walking on the water—and said,
“Don’t be afraid. Take courage. I am here.”
Faith isn’t pretending everything is fine. It’s trusting God’s truth even when the storm rages. Like Peter, when we fix our eyes on Jesus, we can step out in faith—sometimes literally—and do the impossible.
