Why are there so many Bible translations? Which one is right?

Many Christians wonder why there are so many Bible translations if Scripture is God’s Word. The answer lies in history: the Bible was written in Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek, and translation has always been necessary to make it accessible. Even Jesus quoted Scripture using the Greek Septuagint, such as when He summarized the greatest commandment: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength” (Deuteronomy 6:5).
