Petra Ministries

Since 1993, we have ministered for the glory of God. Married in 1993, we began in the church teaching Sunday School for youth, young adults, and adults. Since then, God has used us in teaching and preaching the Word (in Spanish & English) in relevant and powerful ways at churches and in Holy Ghost revival services. He has also used us through ministering in the prophetic and deliverance ministries. Rico has ministered in a variety of prison ministries and, along with Mirna, is gifted in street evangelism and leading outdoor services in parks, urban areas, and residential neighborhoods. God has also blessed us with three tremendous sons Joshua, Jonathan, and James.

Originally from Brooklyn, New York we moved to Pennsylvania in 2006 where we have served as Pastors of Evangelism in various churches. We currently serve in that capacity at Faith Church (AG) in Hazleton, PA. Together, our heart burns with a passion to reach the lost and to encourage every believer.

Our focus is on the preaching of the Word with an emphasis on people responding for salvation, the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, healing in body, soul and spirit and miracles. Our passion is for revival for the church and for communities to be transformed by the power of the Word of God and moving of the Holy Ghost.

Our vision for the local church is for the church, every believer, to receive a new breath of fresh air from the power and anointing of the Holy Ghost. We want to equip the church to use the power of the Holy Ghost which is given to them to reach their family, friends, and communities for the glory of God and the building up of the church.

Our definition of an evangelist is a person gifted by the Lord to preach the gospel and call the church, communities, and the world to repentance. We believe that we are to partner with the local pastor(s) to train and equip the saints for the work of the ministry and to build up the body of Christ through the ministries of praying with others for the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, deliverance, healing, and miracles all for the glory of God and His Kingdom!
