CURRENT MISSIONS WORK

With only an estimated 12% of the Colombian population having experienced the wonders of salvation, there is much work to still be done. Matthew 28:18-20 tells us that we are to go into all the world and make disciples, teaching them to obey Christ and baptizing them.

The need in Colombia is great, millions of people are trapped in tradition, needing to hear the Gospel. The Gospel that is the free gift from God that will free them from the chains of tradition. This Good News still changes lives … and we believe it will change Colombia.

See how you can help extend God’s kingdom here in Colombia.

African Missions Project [AMP] has erected eleven Tabernacle churches in Kenya since 2007 with a need for many more to be built in the coming years.

Tab churches are free standing steel structures consisting of concrete footers, steel trusses, purlins, corrugated roofing, nuts, bolts, and an ample dose of elbow grease. These churches can be erected in two days.

Raw materials for these buildings can be purchased for a cost of $4500. Tab churches serve the dual purpose of protecting the Kenya congregation from the heat during the dry season and the rains during the wet season.

AFRICA

African Missions Project [AMP] has erected five Tabernacle churches in Kenya since 2007 with a need for many more to be built in the coming years. Tab churches are free-standing steel structures consisting of concrete footers, steel trusses, purlins, corrugated roofing, nuts, bolts, and an ample dose of elbow grease. These churches can be erected in two days. Raw materials for these buildings can be purchased for a cost of $4000. Tab churches serve the dual purpose of protecting the Kenya congregation from the heat during the dry season and the rains during the wet season.

AMP feeds 325 orphan children lunch every day at the Siany Orphan School. Located on the Siany slums of Kisumu, Kenya, These orphan children learn reading, writing, arithmetic, and the love of Jesus in English. Without this feeding program, many of the children would not attend the school because they would have to go throughout the Siany slum village foraging for food.

AMP has recently started a feeding ministry for HIV infected widows in the Siany slums. The drugs they take to fight off the HIV virus are very potent and without food, the women become very sick and can die. On our recent ministry trip in March, we supplied 20 very grateful HIV infected widows with a two week supply of food.

Supported Missionaries

Faith Church supports over 33 missionaries. We recently took the list off our website due to the sensitive nature of their work in some areas. To learn more about the missionaries we support, please contact the church office.
