Domesticating God

Throughout history, humans have desired to control their environment. We are innately afraid of the unknown. So we seek comfort, security, consistency. We grew tired of searching and hunting for food so we invented agriculture. We saw a way for more efficient work and utilized animals. In the industrial revolution, we made even further strides in making work both easier and faster. But, do we do this with God?

Helping Students Cross Over From Death To Life

JOHN 5:24

CrossOver is a youth ministry for students in 7th-12th grade that offers a youth church service each week, small groups, special events, missions trips, and leadership experiences. CrossOver’s mission is to connect students to Christ, to help students grow in their walk with Christ, and to reach the lost!

Our goal is to create a dynamic and relevant ministry that students want to be a part of. To equip and enable students to take ownership of, and use their gifts on a regular basis. To develop a culture of transparent, sincere worship that permeates lives. To instill Biblical teaching in students; so they know what they believe and can defend it. To facilitate the growth of ACTIVE faith. And, to have fun!

SPEED THE LIGHT

Speed the Light is the student-initiated, volunteer, charitable program that provides much-needed equipment to missionaries across the nation and in over 180 countries around the world.

The concept is simple: we give so others can speed the light of the gospel to a world in darkness. This is accomplished by providing the “essential transportation and creative communication” equipment for missionary evangelism. Through modern transportation, radio, television, print, audio, and digital equipment, our missionaries can help make Jesus known.
